Built-in skills
These ship with denkr from day one. They are the assistant’s built-in workflows for the core product, not add-ons bolted on later.
App Config
Lets the assistant inspect and safely change allowed app settings like theme colors, font choices, and other app-owned configuration without exposing secrets.
Notebooks
Creates notebooks, chooses the right saved place, and writes or updates markdown pages for ideas, plans, people, and projects.
Reminders
Turns natural language into real reminders with inspectable schedules, honest delivery expectations, and clear reasons.
Memory Curator
Decides what is worth remembering for the long term. Ignores filler. Surfaces older memories when they matter again.
Idea Incubator
Helps shape rough thoughts into clearer options, next steps, and saved notebook pages without losing the original spark.
Decision Helper
Helps compare options, pressure-test tradeoffs, and arrive at a decision that still feels like yours.

denkr ships with core skills, and can also add curated optional skills plus a small set of app-owned web tools.
Optional Skills
denkr can install curated optional skills from one approved public repo, not from an open marketplace and not from arbitrary GitHub content.
Web Search
Fresh web search is available when you enable it in Settings and connect Gemini. It is app-owned, gated, and honest when unavailable.
URL Read
When you send a link, denkr can fetch the page directly, extract readable content, and use that in the conversation.
API Calls
Skills can use named API keys and denkr’s own API-call wrapper to reach third-party services without exposing raw secret handling to the model.
MCP connectors
denkr can connect to remote MCP servers you add yourself. This is beta, manual-add only, and intentionally controlled.
MCP Connector
Add a remote HTTPS MCP endpoint, test it before saving, and let denkr cache its discovered tools locally.
Session Activation
MCP tools are not exposed by default. denkr activates only the subset needed for the current session, then clears them again when they go unused.
Action Confirmation
External side effects stay explicit. denkr can read quietly, but sending, posting, or changing things outside the phone should be deliberate and inspectable.
A note on skills
Skills are not a marketplace. Built-in skills ship with denkr. Optional skills come from one curated catalog, and more will be added over time so you can choose what your assistant should know how to do. MCP connectors are added by you. You can see what exists, know when it runs, and let the assistant handle safe app settings for you in conversation.
